Anyway, version 1.0.5 contains many improvements and the sources contain everything for anyone who wishes to write new extensions.

( 3 / 1072 )Main updates in this version:
Support for using JNEXT simultaneously in multiple browser tabs
POP3 Client sample to demonstrate the simplicity of writing applications with JNEXT
Source code: common framework for writing JNEXT plugins + a filereader sample that demonstrates how you can quickly use the plugin framework to write your own native extensions.
I hope to release this within a day or two - version has been tested - all that is left now is the packaging bureaucracy...

( 3 / 690 )1:30am , after a long day... The more I think about combining Javascript/CSS/DOM/HTML on the application end and native OS code running beneath it, the further the idea seems to take me.
Taking the Lisp-like flexibility of JavaScript and the ridiculous ease in which it can mold breathtaking dynamic UI using HTML/CSS and merging it with the raw power of C++ (or any other compiled language) makes a combination that has one heck of a potential.
Add to this the ease with which new native extensions can be added and well, we'll wait and see...
More samples and extensions are planned to be added during the next couple of weeks. Any volunteers to make this grow faster are always welcome.
